WHAT WE DO
Feeding those experiencing homelessness in the Louisville, Kentucky community since 2015.

The mission of Snacks in Sacks is to partner with individuals, families, and organizations to collect and provide snack bags and other essentials to people who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Our events create opportunities for volunteers of all ages and all incomes to contribute to our local communities. Snacks in Sacks embraces the generosity of our community and enables people to express their caring through sharing.
SNACK BAG FILLING EVENTS
Snacks in Sacks hosts snack bag filling events to create snack bags for those experiencing homelessness in Louisville, Ky. Using donated snack items, bags are filled by volunteers and then distributed to through homeless outreach crews in the Louisville area. Note: during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended our large group events until further notice.
SNACK BAGS AT HOME
The COVID-19 pandemic has curtailed our efforts to hold large snack bag filling events, but we can still assist you in holding your own socially distanced snack bag event at home or with your small group. Use the Contact Snacks in Sacks feature to send us a message to get started.
WINTER OUTREACH
Cold weather brings unique needs and danger for those experiencing homelessness. In cold weather months, Snacks in Sacks collects gloves, hats, tents, blankets, and other survival items for distribution by local outreach crews.
